Komweer

Digital stamp cards for South African small businesses

Turn first visits into regulars.

Komweer replaces the paper loyalty card with a digital one. Customers scan a code at your counter to collect stamps. There's no app for them to download and no card to lose, and you get a client list that belongs to you.

Free to start. No contract. Works on any smartphone.

How it works

Live in an afternoon. Three steps, start to finish.

Set up your card

Choose how many stamps earn a reward, what the reward is, and your logo and colours. Print the counter poster and you're ready.

Customers scan to earn

A code on your counter screen changes every 25 seconds. Customers scan it with their phone camera. First-timers confirm their number once on WhatsApp.

Scan to redeem

When a card is full, the customer shows their reward code and you scan it in the Komweer app. The stamps come off and the card starts again.

Why Komweer

Everything a paper card can't do.

No app for customers

The stamp card opens in the phone's browser straight from the camera. Nothing to install, so more people actually join.

Stamps that can't be faked

Every code works once and expires in seconds. Daily limits and waiting times stop anyone collecting stamps they didn't earn.

A client list you own

See who your regulars are, how often they visit and who has gone quiet. Export the list whenever you like.

Keeps going during load-shedding

If the internet drops, redemptions are saved on your device and sync as soon as the connection is back.

Your rules

Stamps per visit, per item or per Rand spent. Set the reward, expiry dates, a welcome bonus, and run more than one card.

POPIA built in

Marketing messages need a separate opt-in, and customers can see or delete their details at any time. Your data is never shared with other businesses.

Questions

What merchants ask us.

Do my customers need to download an app?

No. They scan your counter code with their phone camera and the stamp card opens in their browser. They can add it to their home screen if they like.

What do I need at my counter?

Any smartphone or tablet that can stay on to show the stamp code, plus the Komweer app for scanning rewards. An old phone on a stand works well.

What if a customer doesn't use WhatsApp?

They confirm their cellphone number with an SMS code instead. Either way, it only happens once per phone.

Can staff or customers cheat the system?

Each code works once and changes every 25 seconds. You set daily limits and waiting times, and every stamp is logged with the time, device and staff member, so unusual activity stands out.

Who owns the customer data?

You do. You can export your client list at any time. Komweer never markets to your customers or shares their details with other businesses.

Is there a contract?

No. Pay monthly and cancel whenever you want. The free plan stays free.
